Because he is a Marvel movie actor and normies love Marvel movies
Mackie's a good actor when he has good material. And he has a face that white people can easily recognize among other black people, which is helpful for an actor.
Because they want him to be the next Captain America. But he just hasn't got it. And they want the next cpt A to be black. So they need someone like Wesley Snipes. Not many of those around .
He is playing a robot.
Dunno why everyone is hating on Anthony Mackie. He's no Denzel Washington but he's decent in most things, in my opinion. Watched Synchronic a couple of days ago and that was good, even with Mr Mackie in it.

Movie is same ol' Hollywood US military glorification, a total screwed projection and total crap. Watch it and weep. Btw. lead is not Mackie, it's all about Damson Idris. He did OK.
